Dear HAC, I wouldn't mind a bit of snow right now, but it probably wouldn't be good for the fruit crops.

My dear Vienna, I'd gladly send you some.. But, depending on what we end up with in the AM , I think photos will have to suffice..

Snowing here too, bud. Hopefully it doesn't stick. I play Rugby tomorrow at the Calgary Rugby Union's pitch. Cold is good for Rugby, but snow isn't...

It's been glorious sunshine all week, but we're due for torrential rain and thunderstorms this evening, coinciding with the house party we're hosting to celebrate the end of the exams (any excuse).

End of exam's! Huzzah! I had my last one with c2 (AS maths) yesterday, what have you had? As for snow - thats just strange. I know canada can be very cold, but is this sort of thing normal in summer? It's actually quite cold here (Kent) - my breath was steaming last night and I had to have an extra layer on my bed -Matt

All week here they kept promising rain and thunderstorms, but they all veered around us, aside from one late-night shower. Biking home on Wednesday, I saw some spectacular clouds piled up over the far side of the mountains to the East, and hence spectacularly lit in the afternoon sun. After arriving home, I checked the weather radar on line, and indeed, the region East of the mountains appeared to be getting hammered.

It's warm enough here that we're sleeping with the windows open. At least we've been getting a nice night breeze.

If the "mountains" in question were the Appalachians then I'm dreadfully sorry, that might have been my fault. I have to admit, I really really miss snow...real snow, not the freezing rain or the gloppy wet stuff we get around here during the very most intense winter months, which just melts away in a day or two.

Well, it ended up being a fine weather day by the end of things, here, despite the CRU cnacelling all games on their fields. We were ready to spank the Saracens. Nancy {CENCORED} sissies.
Lovely weather. Hope it sticks.

If the "mountains" in question were the Appalachians then I'm dreadfully sorry, that might have been my fault. This was the Coast Range on the East of the San Francisco Bay, just to the other side of Mt. Hamilton or thereabouts, so unless your Weather Control Ray has coast-to-coast reach, it probably wasn't you. However, I would rather like to imagine that somewhere back in the range, in ranch country, someone was raising the giant conductive mast above an ominously anonymous outbuilding and laughing maniacally. If it worked, I guess I'll see the results at next year's Maker Faire: Re-Animation@Home [.org] or similar.

Snow in June just seems wrong to me. I am not a fan of the snow, and I FORBID it to come after March.

Sure, the reach on the Ray is long enough; but my aim is better than that, so no, this time it wasn't me. Your image is close to correct though. I'll also just say I don't mind if someone out on the range is working along similar lines, after all maybe we can collaborate, as long as they don't have one down at the You Know What office.

Trade you places, HAC? It's about 80F here, and sweltering, in my opinion. I'd love some snow right now. -It would sure beat holding the freezer door open until the ice cream melts, just to get some respite. Hmmm...melted ice cream... -vela
