I was most pleased Mr. Mephit. Loved the intro/ad page as that was just icing on the cake. Of course you can't go wrong with the beauty of the lads and lasses here, so the photo's were top notch. I'll also enjoy perusing all the dates as the month turns up and learning the historical bits and bobs.
Miss Aetherly, Pm sent your way, but the answer is a resounding yes.

Thank you. That is, rather perversely, probably the part I'm happiest with. It was basically "Oh crap! I've got a page and a half of dead space and I really need to stick something in it!" so I started making stuff up. I thought it turned out pretty well in the end. Glad you liked it too!

Those of you in the US to whom I have already sent calendars (Katerina, I know you're one, Captain Hopkins, you're another, I think there are two others) I overcharged you on shipping by a couple of dollars. Please contact me offlist (mephits at gmail dot com) so that I can refund you what I owe you. Thanks!

I'm not worried about a few pence. Though thank you for mentioning it.
I've been a bit delayed sending mine out for the signatures. For some reason i'm having difficulty finding set of Tyvek envelopes. I'll try again tomorrow, or settle for something less durable.
edit: Found them today. Hopefully off into the mail tomorrow.

Quick update so folks know I'm not forgetting anyone. Utini, Mr. Bastable, Mr. Poiselamppe, and Lieutenant Colonel Thompson: I have your payments and your orders are packed and ready to ship. I have one small snag. The United States Postal Service requires me to use one particular type of tape to seal the envelopes with. No other will do. Guess what kind of tape I'm out of! As soon as I can pick up a roll, those orders will be going out.

Ha ha ha ha! That's ridiculous. I have no problem at all believing our postal service would be that pointlessly nitpicky.

Yes, they are rather odd that way. Found the Tyvek envelopes at the ups store locally for 79 cents each. No tape needed(self adhesive) and the polypropylene is extremely tough.

I recieved mine yesterday Had actually missed it the day before and got a notice in the mailbox with a package from Memphis... and I couldn't figure out what it could be. It looks wonderful though! My boyfriend and I thought people were missing from it, but his fingers were just too stubby to handle the thin pages xD It's up on my wall in all it's glory

It seems all the Australian ones are arriving now. I found mine in the letterbox upon my arrival from work. It now hangs pleasantly in the living room. And it reminds me that it's Charles Darwin's birthday. Huzzah!

Thanks everyone for the kind words on my little project.
So, does anyone have any constructive criticism? There must be a few things people would like to have seen different. If nothing else, it would help whoever is setting up next year's calendar.

Armydillo978, Somewhere in this thread I believe is the entire page for the month of January. One small issue I did want to mention. When thumbing through again before shipping out there seems to be something a bit off in December. I'm unsure if it was due to the original focus of the camera, or the size in which the final photo wound up being rendered. But it appears just a smidgen off focus. No disparity against the gent in the photo, simply the fuzziness that was not the beard. Things of that nature aren't readily apparent sometimes in digital manipulation untill the full size are printed. Perhaps next time a proof printing would be advisable.

There are also several photos I took of a copy back a few pages. Both the page of January and the photos will be in posts by me so they shouldn't be too hard to find. I'm guessing you're actually meaning February 2011 rather than December as December is congenitally beardless being (rather stunningly) female and February 2011 is one of the only two bearded gentlemen. Yes, his photo was a bit low resolution. I knew it was going to be a bit fuzzy going in, but Mr. O'Byrne had no others to submit and I decided it wasn't so low resolution as to be badly pixelled, only soft focus. Oh, and I think I ran five proofs all told, checking for spelling errors and color output. Probably still missed a couple of spelling mistakes somewhere. Such is life when you're mildly dislexic and do typesetting. Heh.

Thank you for the compliment! I'm so pleased everyone's been happy with the calendars. I take it the packaging has been alright as well? No bent or damaged calendars? Captain Brandsson, Lt. Col. Thompson, Utini, Mr. Bastable, Mr. Poiselamppe, your calendars should be mailed out tomorrow, barring bad weather or anything like that.
