Plymouth Steampunk weekend

Right, it has fallen to me, to present to You the provisional plan for a gathering, or gatherings going on in Plymouth (Devon, England ) Next Month

The current plan (Provisionally ) is  We're planning a 2-3 day shindig of steampunky proportions.

Friday- Begnining with a possibly more casual night out, probably ending at Quay Club in Plymouths Barbican (for those who dont know)

Saturday- Night out (probably in Saturday best) to Plymouths "Black Catz" Goth Night, Whereby the good Mr Chapman (thats Doka to you Plymlot) hopes to play some steampunkish type music.

Saturday or Sunday- Gathering, weather permitting on Plymouth's Hoe for tea, gathering, picnics and a Photoshoot

Its looking to be a gathering of epic proportions, Far bigger than Anything we steamplympunks have ever undertaken before.

This does indeed look set to be a rather spiffing few days! I am looking forward to it and even contemplating some sort of exciting baking project to celebrate the occasion...maybe, if I'm not too busy updating (or retrograding) my look

I have finalised information

Events shall begin at 8pm at Plymouths Voodoo Lounge where we shall convene, drink, be merry, socialise and pose for photographs From where we shall head onto the Quay Club (or whatever it may now be named) in Plymouth's Barbican for a night of Rock music and fancy Dancing.

Then, if you can bring yourself to do so. We shall reconvene at 2pm on the saturday outside Voodoo Lounge where we shall head to the Barbican and the Hoe for a widescale photoshoot at various locations.

Then later that evening, (Most) shall reconvene at the Voodoo Lounge at 9pm and then head to Black Catz, at Plymouth's Images Nightclub on Cornwall street for a night of gothic, 80s and industrial music.

"Costume" Dress for all events is optional but highly reccomended, if you do not have suitable clothing, you're welcome to come along and socialise with other steampunks.

Hoping to head down for the afternoon on Saturday. A day trip to the seaside will be most charming. However, attempting to get the train on a saturday afternoon dressed as a 19th century airship hostess might be somewhat interesting. But fun!!!!

Hi there, I just tried to log into the facebook page to check dates and other details for your event but it tell me that the event is cancelled.  Is this true or is there a problem with facebook?

Yup, What Madam Panda Said is true, I recreated the event and tried to invite all the people who had said they were attending the previous "facebook event" apologies for any confusion caused, and I hope to see you there.
