I recently obtained a Guildcraft Cigarette Lighter from a local antique store and am attempting to make it functional once again.

I replaced the flint but cannot get a spark and noticed that the spark wheel? does not move enough to create a spark.
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue before I go on to the next step of making the fuel source function?

This is not pictures of my lighter, but mine is in a similar condition and came in its original case.

Thanks ahead

Whoops, was watching that earlier and guess I didnt copy the actual photo links from photobucket like I thought I did.

Real ones are up now, thanks for catching that for me.

Ok, I decided to unscrew everything and give it a good cleaning. There was quite a bit of gunk built up around where the flint meets the while so I cleaned that out and put in new flint.

I then decided to fill it up with some butane and try it out.  The lighter produces a flame now, but its clearly not burning how it is supposed to (flame is weird shaped and kinda comes out the front hole sections).

Any suggestions on how to fix this? The front wheel is what I assume to be the means to control gas flow but am not entirely positive.

It probably just needs a little more scrubbing around the top. Would it be possible to photograph it while it is lit?

I'll see if I can, the flame goes out rather quickly though so no guarantees.
