Greeting and Salutations to the Steampunk forum and my newfound fellows.

I have pondered "Steam" for many years now and my interest has only grown form strength to strength.  It all started with the video game "Chaos Engine" which was a very gritty and oily distopiate, top-down shooting, "steampunk" view of the future with the ability to play a "Brigand", "Gentleman" or even "Navvy".  This fascination then grew further after discovering movies such as Hudson Hawk (technically "Clock" but hey...), Young Sherlock Holmes, Wild Wild West and Back to the Future 3.  Then at college I discovered roleplay and got into Call of Cthulhu and Deadlands.  These further inspired my love of "Gaslight" and "Weird-West".

Now I find myself here via the fabulous Von Slaat Steam Keyboard and a few other sites....here in a place I hope to call "home"

If you would all be so gracious as to accept me here?

most grateful,

Dr. Freemanstein

On the contrary Good Sir...

The marvels of Von Slatt fill me with more aspiration than intimidation.
