I take offense to that comment. I am neither diseased, and I have already conquered the sea. Tongue

I conquered space, though that might have been an opium dream.
And no, the cookies stay.
They are delicious.

Well unfortunately, lass, you'll have to find them somewhere else. My cookie hoard is ever so precious to me.
Until I eat it.

Honestly I was reminded of another webcomic reading through this thread:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Now then, as for this Safehouse, I do enjoy the idea of it, we do need protection from the unwashed, the "normal" (gotta get the right amount of bile in your throat when you say it), however, I will not be frequenting it often as that is the severity of my misanthropy.

As I recall, Doyle's original Diogenes Club (of which Mycroft Holmes was a charter member) had a strict rule that no-one, member or guest, was permitted to address, make eye contact with, or in any other way acknowledge the existence of anyone else while in the club-room. (I believe the stewards had special dispensation, but only just barely.)

Well, just me and my lonesome.  Wait...that's one too many.  *Yowls and screetches like two cats fighting*
*Sudden silence*
That's better.

Did the cat fight scare everyone away?

It is over now.  You can all come out.  *Retracts claws*.  Really, its safe.

i am quite happy to escape the dreaded "normal", but as a bus dwelling hippie who is also a fan of steampunk, i have to say i find your comment about keeping the unwashed out most unwelcoming!  Tongue

Does this non-club accept solipsists? Although, if solipsism is accurate, you are all figments of my imagination, so hopefully my imagination will let me join. In which case, may I request an absinthe (which you must serve, since I made you up).

I guess this might be the place for me.  I don't like people in general, especially stupid people.  I'm a Loner...Dotty, a Rebel. LOL.  Anyway, Hi!  And now bugger off!

Socialy inept people are allowed?
*Walks in sheepishly*

I'm too young for strong drinks, I'll just have some tea, or a coca-cola.
Until I am served I'll sit in the shadows and wish I wasn't shy...
