In the interst of hanging a lampshade on the proliferation of various fanciful and largely confusing societies appearing as of late, I have decided to open a safehouse for the unassimilated.

This is a place for the self-reliant, the distant, the socially inept, and variouisly motivated lone wolves.  A place to need not be under the whims of the great orders and to hatch your schemes, relax, or cause havoc in your own name, and strictly in your own name.

This is not a society, a club, a group, or any such thing.  Think of it as perhaps a tavern where the loners would seek to have an ale, chat with others like them, and exchange stories and musings, on whatever strikes their fancy, before leaving to continue to face the masses, and take on the world by themselves.

Therefore, in the name of rebellion, freedom, and all the other romantic concepts that go along with doing your own thing,  I bid thee welcome,  so long as ye've not brought a group with you.

isn't that like trying to start an anarchists political party?

If they are not into the groups then wouldn't the idea of joining a group be well oxy-moronic?

Please take this as a late night attempt at seeing the humour in the idea. No offense intended

This is a fine idea. May I pass out poorly photostatic reproductions of Politically charged Philosophical manifestos, while enjoying a sip of "Tea"?

This sounds rather like the beginnings of another Diogenes Club.

I do apoligize, but vampires are welcome as long as they've not brought their cabal along.  I keep my doors open to anyone alone.

What if you dislike the general masses (hate would be too strong a word, I think) but like the people here? You can't really call yourself a misanthrope when you still have faith in humanity, and the fact that a club for antisocial people exists has given me some faith back already.

So does this mean we may come in as long as we don't get chummy, lest we start a carpool and become a group?

You might join us, but don't open the gates to hordes of the undead, I think was the point being made.
