Fetch me musket!

« on: November 04, 2008, 01:00:37 pm »

Hello,

I found this little watch the other day and told my fiancé that I wish it as a christmas present (She have been prodding me to come up with a few things I would want for christmas for a couple of months already)

It's battery driven, but that might be a good thing since I would probably forget to rewind it. Tongue
(They do sell one that doesn't use batteries, but it didn't have a nice looking train on it.)

So... Is anyone else getting some new watches/gadgets/automatons in the near future? Smiley

Very nicely designed pocket watch. Any waistcoat would be much improved with it attached.

I have no set date by which I'm going to buy it but I really really want this:

Personally, what I'd like is this:

Ever since my old cap got thrown in the wash by accident(or so I'm told...), I have felt somewhat incomplete.

Owen, did you see this?? http://www.gentlemansemporium.com/store/001284.php

I love mechanical skeleton watches, and that one's very tempting. Thanks for showing us the site!  Smiley

For caps, check Marshall's, TJMaxx.  Right now they have messenger caps, wheel caps, mechanic's caps - mostly from 9 to 14 dollars, American.

My pleasure! It's a brilliant selection isn't it? It's almost like a one stop shop for a man's steampunk wardrobe.

Yes, but I already own a pocket watch, and stand in line to get my grandfathers sometime in the near future. Mostly, I just really miss my hat.   Cry

But if I *WERE* in the market for a new pocket watch, this would probably be it: http://www.gentlemansemporium.com/store/001981.php

Guess what I have in my pocket?  Grin
(hurr hurr hurr)

... But it was completley metallic, including the train. I'm still a happy owner of it, but still.
(I belive that would be enough to file a complaint against them, since the product did not match the promised one, or how one would translate it to english. But I'm happy with it and wont bother)
