They didn't look very Jaegerish to me. Just ordinary barbearians.

Go, Dupree! I've been figuring it's a copy of the Baron in there...

Man, Dupree is just the best character. You know, aside from the Jaeger boys. And, okay, everyone else too--I love that there's so many awesome characters. Something it has in common with Babylon 5; that was chock-full of awesome characters as well.

I think that it's a joint occupancy.  That's the reason for avoiding sleep, each of them believes that the other will gain ground if he rests.

So, now Gil has Klaus in his head, and Agatha has Lucrecia... that might make any future wedding-night 'interesting'.....

Although, as ever, Miss Dupree has a ready answer.  :-)

Hee! I was right!  Grin

I wonder if Higgs has clued in about it yet? Also, this is going to be interesting, when Captain Vole finally becomes coherent again; looks like, physically, at least, he'll be the equivalent of the Jaeger generals. Probably not a good thing with a --with a--what's the word I want? Tones of "rebel", mixed with a little "wild card", with a soupçon of "dangerous enemy"? Drat, I don't remember.  I'm sure you all know what I mean, though.

See, this is what happens when I post after 3am; my vocabulary goes all wonky.

A silly question:

How the greek|latin term Heterodyne will translate in English ? Is that a actual word with a actual meaning ? Thank you in advance.

The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.

''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.''

Actually, it's a bit of electronics and/or radio technical vocabulary;

For a brass goggles thread we are on track, it's that train that is off the rails.

And now we have Lucrezia and Klaus.

With an interesting note of the skills of Mr Foglio's pencils that Lucrezia is drawn quite recognisable - and somewhat more 'hotter' than Agatha - but still within the parameters of the character form.

[And I'm amazed this thread has been quiet since December - we've had sentient trains, bears, intrigue on a snowbound express, and Ms Dupree taking tea and cake. ]

I'm sorry. I wandered off while they were first fighting that train and haven't felt a need to return. That storyline lost my interest.

About a month or two ago, I found girlgenius for the first time.  I have to tell you, it was a wonderful read straight through.  Now, I have been reading it page by page, and I find that it suffers.  Much as a symphony might if you were only to hear a stanza per night.

I think my best strategy forward will be to ignore it for a month and "catch up" all at once.

Still a huge fan, just one finding the best way to enjoy the product.

Man, now I want Naughty Agatha Steam-Powered Pantaloons. In seven scandalous colours. I might have to make some but if the Foglios don't do some as merchandise I shall be most disappointed in them.
