(Snapping out of trance) Anyway, what was I doing here? Yes, I had just finished making a nifty vest from an old leather jacket and wanted to show a picture of it. That's quite the shocking bit of knee there! ~fans self~ The vest is quite tasty as well. DB

Some images I took with my phone-cam this weekend, there should be better ones up on the official con-blog soon, I hope. They are all a bit large. Rather grainy due to bad lighting conditions (the lady in black with the Ankh is my wife) And finally: (please note the wristlets, I got those from Lavenderfae for Air Kraken Day )

My attempt at dressing like an Undertaker from Unhallowed Metropolis: The pistol is still a WIP, but I kinda like the outfit. Just need to find more excuses to wear it. And that is obviously a wig.

I've got new glasses, and they're steamy! ...Unfortunately, due to me being ill and thus wanting to be comfy, I have a rather boring outfit at the moment. Nonetheless, a picture! New holes in my ears for earrings included! ...Ni.

I'm afraid not, I'll be a volunteer at another event by then. Better luck next time, I guess.

I had a little too much fun this weekend. 85 dollar bar tab plus beer and liquor afterwards. And no I don't have giant hands, that's just a bottle of Red Stripe.

Thanks everyone for your comments about the vest. It was a first effort, so I appreciate it. Leeps - that vests is spiffin! I love how you have the buttons and straps but the buttons are unused *thumbs up* Are you planning on wearing it with a different out or with the black ensemble you have under it? PS lemmestealyourgogglesmkay? It's actually over a brown dress, but I guess it does look sort of black in the photo. I plan to wear it with the brown dress, an ivory skirt peeping below, and brown boots. The buttons and straps can both be used, but preferably not at the same time. I noticed that if the vest is completely closed and buttoned, the straps were not very noticeable. So I made them to show a bit in the opening when left unbuttoned. That's quite the shocking bit of knee there!
Heehee. I know! But I only had 10 seconds to sit and arrange myself before the camera-timer went off, so...oops. There were quite a few out-takes. i think it could use some more embellishments though and maybe hem the arm holes . p.s. i really dig the ska man! i would have one myself, but my brother beat me to it. I agree about the arm holes, I just really am not quite skilled enough to know how to make them look better. I was going to fold it in and sew it, but that made it sort of...lumpy. PS The ska man was one of my earliest tattoos. I got the checkerboard added in more recent years.

Goodness, it DOES look like you had fun! These are just the timid pictures. Apparently at some point I felt the need to pull down my pants and forced the people with the camera to take a picture. Lucky for me I opted to wear boxers that night instead of going with my usual choice of a Mexican flag banana hammock.
