Abiliegh - that hat. I want it. That card shoved in the side makes a nice touch - is it a tarrot card? Or something else? The bottom shot is very nice, good setting. I don't know why but I like the buckles on the straps of the corset.
Yes, the hat is my baby. And it is indeed a tarot card (of sorts) in the hat. That reminds me, I have to find a really nice deck of cards so I can add them to my top hat for special occasions. I had two candy canes in there for Christmas, and I think I’ll try to score one of those silly rabbit ear headband things, take the ears off and find a way to temporarily affix them to my hat for Easter. I’ve considered using tarrot cards for decoration but I’m not sure how well that would be received where I’m living. People might get to thinking I’m some kind of Heretic… I found that people didn't look to closely at the card itself, just noted that it was there. I got the pleasure of wearing a highly inappropriate woman atop my hat, and the casual observer simply saw a card there that was in the same color scheme as my outfit

Grin….
@ Silkstone – Thanks! Wow! Thanks! I really tried to make the boiler room look good.
@ Duskmoth – Thank you too! I am quite fond of the coat and boots. I think they may be my finest work yet.
@ Gazongola – The boots I got off of eBay. Search for “Jedi Boots” and you will find some good finds. The boot covers I made from a free spat pattern I found online and modified it and used artificial leather. The buckles I got from a flea market.
@ Abiliegh- Yes, the boiler room was the belle of the ball.
@ markf – High praise indeed sir! Thank you!

As a dear friend of mine says, 'Normal is defined by the company you keep'. Around here, I don't think you're all that strange. Great diving helmet. Thank-you both, gentlemen. The helmet might look good, but the novelty wore off on me after seven hours of wearing it non-stop today.

Please enjoy these works from a recent phot shoot. The artisans that created these images have my undying respect and admiration. All of the pieces were shot at the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum in Jacksonville Florida. Vice Admiral, Formal. I made the pant's, jacket, cap, and spats. The Nerf was bought on ebay as was it's holster. The cutlass was purchased through Bud K. Vice Admiral, Working. I dropped the sash and cap. I actually jumped the rail and am on a ledge of the museum about 50 feet above the ground. Vice Admiral and The Professor. She rocks. The Fine Art of Boiler Maintenance. Part 1 The Museum has a bolier room deep inside her structure that was taken full advantage of. The Fine Art of Boiler Maintenance. Part 2 Adventurer. I made the vest and use it for a ouple of different ensembles. The pants I made and are part of my Han Solo costume. The boot and belt are from my Jedi costume, and the lasso is something I bought in Tombstone Arizona. Adventurer. I do all my own stunts. These are just pure awesome. You appear to be having way to much fun in the boiler room . I especially like the one when you appear to be hanging upside down. Great outfits kudos for making alot of it yourself I always respect a man who knows how to sew. BTW I have a lasso from Arizona as well (I always like collecting things for props).

Thanks, everyone. I was trying to make a vest that would resemble the one that is often worn by a certain famous singing airship pirate. It didn't turn out quite like his, but I'm satisfied with it as a feminine version. Today I bought a brown leather belt that is large enough to wear diagonally from shoulder to hip, so I think that will add nicely to the look.

I agree the vest looks quite good. Not as unrealistic and over the top as some outfits on here.
