I think it is a very nice outfit indeed. The trousers need to be a bit more fitted, but otherwise I would say you look quite the thing. A cravat would be good too, for occasions when there are ladies present.  Nevertheless, you make quite the gentleman adventurer., a veritable young Nayland Smith.

A true alternative subculture is one that not only questions the social status quo but poses viable solutions to some of the perceived underlying problems. Difference from the norm is not the same as superiority to the mainstream unless it can be  argued that the difference is positing a better way.

very kind words your ladyship but as a rogue and a scoundrel i oft find my self in the company of "ladies" who are not what one in your standing would consider very ladylike.

Oh! My!  I do believe my cheeks have coloured ever so slightly...

So--- is it true that there are actually foreign hussies who decline to wear undergarments? And that there are women who actually smoke? Shocked We have heard that in the lands where the red Indians live such things happen, but surely it cannot be so in more civilized places!
But perhaps we should ask you to recount your less-shocking adventures, and leave you to smoke with the other gentlemen while you tell your more personal stories...

Perhaps I should have said other MAJOR vice...
As far as watches, I have been a collector and amateur watchmaker for some time. I will make a few discreet inquiries to see if any of my confreres have a reasonable priced pocket watch available.

a few of mine...

Quite spiffing! I simply adore the pistol, and all your nice belts and leather strappings are delightful.

The suit is quite lovely. I especially like the detailing on the jacket and the plaid waistcoat.

Ah, absinthe, gin, and pipe smokery... These are a few of my favorite things. A fine evening, indeed...

Oh dear, it appears that we have steered the conversation back towards vices. Perhaps right where it should be. ^_Q

I do believe that Morly needs to expedite her relocation to Georgia.

It seems, Mr. Promethium, that we possess identical top hats. I predict an inevitable confrontation in which they duel to the death; there can be only ONE!

Hahah! Actually, I'm getting another one for my steampunk costume as well. So perhaps we can convince them to live in harmony, after all... ^_Q

While these are rentals, they might give you some ideas.  Go a bit down the page on the left- there are two outfits you might want to recreate.  Also,
