I was quite young when I first played this, but I always adored it and it was one of my first RPGs (my favourite genre) and terrifyingly, this is the first I have heard of this news!
It filled me with much happiness! I really cannot wait to get my hands on this!

Chrono Trigger? Chrono Trailer! It does look great, however would it change it for a lot of you if the music was changed to actual full orchestra rather than the original MIDI? Something about a rich orchestra sound does it for me. I love the theme, regardless.

Chrono Trigger is what got me into RPGs (and to a lesser extent steampunk!) Kinda wish they threw in some texture on that clock pendulum... Or updated the graphics a bit.
While it's nice to be able to play Chrono Trigger on a bus, in the airport, or the corner of a burlesque house, I can't see myself buying this game for the third or fourth time.

The interesting links concerning this game just keep pouring in. The original composer is interviewed by 1up.

Square Enix plans to own the world... their never ending barrage of news about this release is crazy. Here is the trailer in full-blown English! Go ahead and bookmark that, as it's the American release's website. Something about now being able to read text gets me even more excited. Many are speculating the reason they're releasing it is to give those of us who missed it a second (or third) chance at playing it, but also to test the waters and possibly warrant the creation of Trigger 2, which has been pleaded for for just about... 13 years I'd wager.

A new ending has been announced for the DS version. Yes, I know, rezzing a thread, but hey... you all don't mind... surely.

This is exciting! Too bad I don't have a DS. I will have to stick to playing it at home on my Super Nintendo. (yes, I still have one. I even have the original!)
