Some time ago, there was shock and awe at the beauty that was the Cabestan watch – a beautiful but excruciatingly expensive watch by Vianney Halter and DMC. Well, more fool me for linking to the Vianney Halter page then and not having noticed the above beautiful watch at the time. I must have been blind.

The Antiqua is part of the Futur Anterior range, which they describe as -

“These are watches than one might imagine on Captain Nemo’s wrist when at the controls of his Nautilus, or pehaps worn by H.G. Well’s when returning from time travel.??
