Quite true; a short exposure to a summer’s day, and ‘Rite of Spring’ began to sound like ‘Night on Bald Mountain’. Alas, the latter not having the same effect on young ladies as the former.

The Dun-Dun-DUUUUUUUUUN fanfare seems to be an ubiquitous part of our post-talkie culture – almost at a genetic level, it would seem. Nice interpretation you’ve made there. Sadly, I too suffer from “proprieterius filetypius.”

If only my portable communication device’s service provider worked the way it was advertised to (curse this modern view of “high-quality service;” I shake my fist at it), I would thoroughly enjoy it dandandarrr-ing at me whenever my sisters try to contact me. But, alas, Sprint sucks, as we young’uns say. More fist shaking is in order, I think.
