Hey, thanks for the post! The cash from this LCD is going to fund a new set of PC cases/LCDs (and pay off my first ridiculous#$@@%# California speeding ticket). Think stained glass and gothic arches.

Damn... it went for $2,850.00. Seeing Datamancer's work makes me think about getting my hands on some mahogany or oak and sheet brass and start hacking away with a Dremel or scroll saw. Then reality rears its ugly head and I ask myself "Who do you think you're kidding? You and which workshop of artisans?"

At least I do have a stock of Nerf guns in hand, and a folder on my PC of downloaded photos of steampunk mods of them. Once the daytime temps get reasonable for spray painting in the garage I figure I can at least do some of that. No kidding, its high forties to low fifties here in Western Washington. In June. Where's my global warming?
