Don’t you just love the sight of brass and copper used for something this nice?

(Also suggested by Kristopher, thank you!)

    Awwwesome.
  • Marvelous piece of work! I will have one.

It does remind me of a WWI trench lighter, but that's ok. I always liked My Grandfathers lighter. As for staic build up to arc to the electronics inside, A slim foam rubber butt on the inside should ground that for you just fine.

    Beautiful.
  • Now, if that was all brass, it would look a lot like a WWI trench cigarette lighter.
  • Gaspard de Coligny
    hum... epoxy...

I'll start by saying it looks fantastic and I wants 1.

Metal cases for stuff = awesome. Unfortunately my Sandisk Cruzer titanium died because it's oh-so-stylish metal exterior developed a static charge and arced to the inner bits, fryin my datas. I imagine a copper casing like this is susceptible to the same problem. Be careful!
