I hope that this will be good, I just hope that they get the same feel as the game. It kept me up for half a night playing it over at a buddies house.

I am most thrilled about this i have played the game, i agree totaly that it is mostly art deco but it has to be one of the most amazing games in the world i say one of the most because they are bringing out a second bioshock the sea of dreams.

Well, I am inclined to agree that the game was wonderful. But I do have some bad news for all who wish to read. Gore Verbrinsky for one has never made a good film, the only film he has had a part in creating which turned out well was "Pirates of the Caribbean", but this film was pretty much under the control of Disney and not Mr Verbinski. Mr Verbinski was however controlled the sequels which lets be honest were diabolical.
To further instil fear into all here, when he signed onto the game he had neither played nor seen Bioshock, which I think is quite an imperative aspect of adapting the game.
I have had this discussion with others and it is predicted that we shall follow the main character, the Big Daddies will be henchmen of the overall villain, but in the final conflict it will be the Big daddy who will save our protagonists life.....sounds terrible doesn't it, well I for one am not holding out for this adaption. The only director who could be worse for the job would be Uwe Boll.

Let's face it: taking into concideration what an amazing game bioshock was, we run a rather high risk of being dissapointed.

This could be amazing. The game kept me at my computer for 24 hours straight so the film will either disapoint me or blow my mind. Unfortunately films from games tend to be terrible e.g. Hitman. But fingers crossed.

I empathise and agree with you, Lord Jerreth - I liked the game a great deal (shame about the last 1/3rd of it) so I'm very cautiously watching this one from afar. Ready to shun it with extreme predudice if it ends up more "Super Mario Brothers" than "Pirates of the Carribean".

I'm quite excited about this. I only hope doesn't turn out to be a huge flop.
