Robert posted some pics here:

It looks like it was an incredible night! I wish I could have been there but I totally emptied The Workshop's coffers at Maker Faire.

I have to confirm that the show was great. You had a confluence of a perfect steampunk band in a perfect steampunk venue and a perfect steampunk crowd. Many audience members wore custom and handmade accessories. I saw some great goggles, a number of custom watches. Victorian-style and Edwardian-style clothing in abundance, as were more punk adaptations. Large video projections played Fritz Lang's Metropolis and other films through the night, adding to the atmosphere. And did I mention the two AERIALISTS?!? I closed the night out with the bar and it was well worth it. Now, if only I could decide what the perfect steampunk cocktail was for the night. I stuck with the French 75.

Dude I was there it ROCKED!!!
ahem
Twas a delightful experience. Surreal to the extreme. It was what I could only imagine a bohemian club at the turn of the century might have been like. That is to say with all of the men and women ALL dressed proper in attire perfectly in context with the Edisons decor. The owner himself said he has NEVER seen the place filled with people who actually appear to belong there. What's even more bizarre is the fact that many of the employees at the Edison seemed unfamiliar with steam punk. We sure educated them. To think the most steam punky place in LA is only now seeing it's potential. I hope that future gatherings of this magnitude of awesomeness appear in the Edison. It was hard to leave and go back to dreary reality.

Dratz! It appears that this event has been planned on the wrong coast! If only we had a fantastic steampunk venue like the Edison in Boston.

Ha! I am going to the show. I have my ticket all purchased and waiting for me. I am already checking the adult beverage menu on the Edison Downtown website and choosing my libations for the evening. And if I see the crew of the Ophelia I just may send them drinks too.
