Cup of Brown Joy – Tea-Rap

Odd as it may seem, this video is surprisingly catchy – it shows the irrepressible Mr Elemental waxing lyrical about his preferred beverage, tea. Clad in his pith helmet and more than a little wide-eyed from rather a lot of caffine, and accompanied by a gyrating lady and his phonograph-spinning butler, he comes across as a little strange, but well – he’s just very keen on tea. Around the world in 80 brews – herbal? No thanks. Thanks instead go to Mr Alexander Edmund Clough for his excellent taste in videos.

I think I have a new hero.....................no, scatch that (no pun intended) I DO have a new hero.
• Davis Thadweiler
He lacks a Hornicator aparatus, and does not feature circuit-bent instrumentation, so Mr. Truax and Mr. Daedelus are still my first and second heroes respectively. Elemental certainly makes honorable mention though. At least his knock on herbal teas was a sporting one, so I am not put off by it.

I think I will have some Earl Grey right now.
To the hydro-steamer!
• Malcolm Ryan
I love it!

"I'd sell my own grandma for a cup. Well, I'd sell your grandma for a cup."
• Samuel Crowe
Hahahahahahaha!
Oh, that was lovely... just lovely.
• Duppi
"when i say herbal you say no thanks .... i want to be able to put milk in it strong though so you can stand a spoon up in it" this line had me in fits similarly the one about coffee shops moog is an exalent director (you should watch his grannytarismo and fan film)

OMG. Love the "scratch" action on the gramaphone!
• SteamBlast_Mary
Lawks and Lordy! That created quite a rumpus in our abode, even if i don't identify with the sentiment. Fair blew me bloomers off, that did!
• Doctor Trakov
I have developed a new taste for tea.
Ah, but my favourite song is still Motorhead's Orgasmatron.
• Sir A Poiselammpe
Lovely stuff - Don't mind if I do....
• Mr. Ethan Grammatikidis
That's the maddest thing I've seen in months. Delightful!
• Rear Admiral Ferrus Bumbershit
So... is this pith-hop?
• Mr James Harrison
Egads! I thought I liked tea but this fellow takes the biscuit... sorry, Battenburg cake. For some reason now I want a cup of Assam...
• Ben
lol i like ^^
• Amos
The source material is original, the lyrics are quite clever and well written, and it's not half as annoying as I'd imagined it would be, but the production values are terrible. I'd like to hear it with much better music and the levels are waaaay off. The video could use a bit of polish, as well... All in all, not bad.

Also, I've always liked the smell of brewing tea more than the taste, though I do drink it quite often; and I quite agree with his sentiments concerning coffee ;)
• The Infernal Mr Adams
Haha, I loved that :D

Yay, I'm not the only one hates Herbal Tea :D
• mine
Word up, old chap!

:D
• Kinnaree
Smashing! Ripped the audio for my "going to class" play list. Love it!
• Duppi
i agree with The Infernal Mr Adams herbal tea especially fruit teas taste like a mug that once had cordial in it.
• Godfrey Gull
Love the video, great, although the butler frightened me a little. Quality stuff. On the subject of herbal teas, my flatmate drinks a very peculiar smoky tea, that drives me insane. Whats wrong with simple, basic, tea, eh?
• lol God, that's funny. Definitely never thought I'd see someone rap about tea. I must admit I'm an herbal tea drinker though.

I tried finding a contact email address for you, but I couldn't see one on the site. I just wanted to show you a video about the steampunk treehouse some artists built at Coachella music festival this year. Here's the link:

Feel free to email me back if you'd like (people at my work made the video). I left my email in the email field.

Thanks,
