Jon Pertwee was pretty cool. Tom Baker was neat but there was so much of him that eventually you look for something else.

Everyone seems to forget the 1996 TV Movie practically gave us a steampunk TARDIS console room.

I grew up with Doctor Who from Jon Pertwee onwards till Peter davidson, I think maybe he was always quite steam punk, I remember the origional police boxes, that shows my age eh? sonic screwdiver? and a liking for smoking jackets…….awesome

Missed your Doctor entirely. I went straight from Davidson to Eccleston. The Doctors keep getting better but there has never been a Master better then Roger Delgado.
