Actually,I don’t doubt that someone more creative than myself will make a decorative pump accessory in keeping with the period.

In addiition to fancy pouches,clothing with pump pockets,etc;there’s a company called Groovy Patches that makes snazzy versions of the sterile pads used for infusion sites.

A goggle-shaped patch or leather-and-rivets reticule could be just the ticket until that brass pancreas becomes readily available!
