I am so glad that I found out about Suekichi-san's work -before- my trip to Japan.

I'll be heading over there around New Year's and I'll definitely look up this genius fellow! A friend tells me that two shops in Tokyo sell his watches, though I am also more than willing to travel 1300km's to the north of Hokkaido to meet him in person.

I think that I'll buy at least two, maybe even three, watches since they are so wonderful ^_^

Most of his watches are heavy, impractical, expensive, awkward and often downright bizarre. In other words they're steampunk of the highest degree and absolutely gorgeus. Just look at all that brass and leather!
