Over at Wired, Mr Von Slatt has been interviewed by Mr Brownlee and that, coupled with the photographs of Mr Von Slatts various creations over the years, results in a lovely glimpse at the terribly creative man behind the keyboard.  (And the monitor, and the guitar, and…).

Oh, and I promise not to tease too much about Mr Slatt being called ‘Mr Steampunk’.  Well, only a little. *chuckles*  Well done, Mr Steampunk!

    Well, it seems his page is back up and bouncing with energy now. Must have been a blip when it couldn't quite handle it.

    I have some comments, Mr Geirskogul, it depends on the post in question. *smiles* I fear that many people take their conversations to the forum instead, leaving the comments a little light.
  • High congratulations and commendations to the gentleman inventor, I do declare that his site's gone down though. I'm guessing the surfeit of visitors thanks to the wired link would have tipped the poor server over the edge. Has anyone the educated guesswork of when it shall return?

    And is the comment system broken? You've got to have at least as many readers as, say, DDN, but you have no comments? I love the site, and the things it shows me. Just some appreciation.
