How many goggles are too many?  Alas, I may never know the answer to this, as my appetite seems impossibly voracious, so thank you to Mr Van Zoelen for sending word of his new goggles!  Created from a gas mask originally, they look simply marvelous and very sturdy indeed.  There’s even a little tale to go with them, a short window into the toil and sweat of a Steampunk inventor, looking forward to a nice, well deserved bath.

Mr Van Zoelen seems to have put his hand to many pastimes, however, and the goggles are just the most recent one – there’s papercraft, kitemaking, writing, programming and more.  As fans of Steampunk, the goggles and the Da Vinci Code ‘cryptex’ device replica are perhaps closest to our hearts.
