When I first went hunting for goggles, I quickly found the Atomefabrik site (warning – flashing site, see below) for cyberpunk styled goggles – predominantly aluminium with spikes or symbols on them.  In short, they weren’t particularly Steampunk (although they did look very high quality).

However, over at the forum in the Definitive Goggle Thread, poster 4iamgod pointed out that there’s a new Steampunk section!  And joy of joys – they’re made of beloved machined brass!  They’re currently custom pieces, so there’s no prices to them yet, but between the green lensed ones above (that give the impression of an iris closure on the right lens) to some utterly dashing ‘aviator’ ones with polished mirrored lenses.  Springs, hinges, screws, wires and best of all – brass.  I couldn’t ask for better components!

Should you get lost, do click “slow version for easy paced people” on the far left to reduce the flashing, then click “goggles” in the top dial, and then click “Steampunk!” twice (once on the page with the dog, once on the page with the rather animated bearded gentleman).
