They disapoint in the "living up to the name" department, e.g. a Heinlein Trooper i would expect to be a rifle of some sorts with a strong facist inspired 50s military industrial complex style. The Burroughs Barsoom MkIV should look like a cross between a colt repeater from the end days of the civlwar organically meshed with ancient persian styling (but with 6 armed animal carvings), and E.E.
