(BG via BB)

A couple of these fantastic instruments reminded me somewhat of the art objects/instruments produced by the Japanese brother duo Maywa Denki. Maywa Denki's things has a retrofuturistic feel to them, albeit a 1960s kind rather than a 1860s kind, but the very mechanical and non-electronic nature of these instruments turn them into some kind of honorary steampunk in my opinion. Link: http://surl.se/alkb (Art tab/Naki tab or Tsukuba tab).
