Beautiful knife switches can be found on eBay, for quite reasonable sums, if one is sufficiently patient. Automated (Favorite) searches are your friend. I’ve obtained three gorgeous units that way. One will eventually become the lightswitch for my workshop (through a suitable low voltage relay for safety). I hope to enclose the extra safety bits in a suitably steampunkish enclosure, with decor, I’ll mail you some shots if I ever finish the darned project.
