I’m not sure why, but I don’t much care for the ‘open’ looking handle. A burnished oak or walnut handle, with a spiral leather grip, with that ‘glassy’ part coming out [with an appropriate yellow, flickering glow] woulda looked nifty. But that’s just my opinion.
