Kiddo never jumped overboard. What was your source on that? She was lowered in a bag to a boat, but they could not make contact, so Kiddo was hauled back up for the trip. Of the three logs kept during the trip, no one mentions Kiddo jumping overboard and being rescued.

I guess it all depends on how your cat was introduced to the automobile, and if all trips in said automobile involved veterinarians. Mine would quite happily wander all over the dash, armrests, sills, etc. before lying down on the package shelf.

Well, apparently Kiddo wasn't too keen on flying either, initially, and jumped off the airship into the sea! Was rescued with the use of a rope, however, and apparently didn't try that again. Say what you like about cats, but if the alternative to flying is to get wet, they might just learn to tolerate flying grins

Cats and and I go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. I currently reside with 4, and helped raise a litter of six (which I kept one of). When I was a child my family livd with 10 or so cats.

My fiance's name is Cat too. =P

Having traveled several times with a feline (in nothing more than an automobile), I have a hard time believing the pilots sunny reviews of the experience. Perhaps Kiddo was de-clawed? Even when moored sturdily to the ground, I wouldn't mix a clawed kitten with anything inflated...
