Mr Hildebrandt found a recently started web-illustrated-storybook series (like a webcomic, but a storybook, if you follow) called Emma. It seems to be the tale of a young girl called Emma Verne who lives on a floating cityship called Ursae. (Maybe named for the planet, 47 Ursae Majoris?) Apparently Emma is mischievious, likes eating scones, and tinkering with things with her trusty spanner. I like her already.

It seems that it’s only started recently, but the potential is there. It’s a distinctive style, especially the crosshatching – but I find it quite appropriate.
