The Neverwas Haul

The Neverwas Haul has been quite popular on the internet recently, and rightly so. The intrepid explorers from the Hibernian Empire went on a diplomatic expedition to Black Rock City in their steam traction pulled 3 storey Victorian home on wheels. As far as could be acertained, it was a success.
From their Tribe.net page:
“The Neverwas Haul represents a reimagining of the victorian era, an era when technology and exploration fueled the imagination of the Continent, and gentlemen and ladies of leisure set out in pursuit of the strange and wonderous. Inspired by the works of Jules Verne, the neverwas haul represents a combination of the Victorian love of comfort and imposition of its own values on to the primitive landscape of the old and new worlds and pure, unadultered belief in the overaching grace of technology.”
They’ve also been featued on Wired and their dedication ceremony is up on YouTube in two parts. (Part 1 and Part 2, there may have been more parts, but alas I couldn’t find them.) Long Live Hibernia! I think.
